The aim of the study is to study the structural organization of social identity in patients with amputation of the lower limbs. As a result of the research, it was established that the social identity of patients with amputation of the lower limbs at the level of structural components is characterized by simple undifferentiated cognitive constructs, a regressive motivational profile with a predominance of motivation to maintain life support, comfort and general activity, as well as a mismatch of value orientations with the prevalence of values of universalism, stimulation and authorities. Low integration of the structural organization of social identity in patients with amputation of the lower limbs is provided at the level of the motivational component in the structure of social identity: the basic quality is the motivation of comfort at the level of the motivational component and the value of independence at the level of the value component.
