An important requirement for the professional-personal formation of a medical student in training in a higher educational institution is the formation of personal independence, initiative, creativity, competitiveness. The share of foreign students is an important component that reflects the international status and competitiveness of an educational institution in the world market. The number of foreign students in the Kursk State Medical University increases from year to year. In this regard, the positive experience and features of teaching neurology to students from different countries are of interest. Factors of optimization of the educational process with the use of innovative technologies are highlighted.
