The purpose of the research: carrying out a theoretical and methodological analysis of the phenomenon of constructive activity. Methods: as methods, a group of theoretical methods was used: a historical-perspective method; method of bibliometric analysis and thematic bibliometric analysis. Results: Solving the problem of carrying out the theoretical and methodological analysis of the phenomenon of constructive activity with the help of the historical-perspective method, the method of bibliometric analysis and thematic bibliometric analysis. It was found out that the history of studying the phenomenon of constructive activity has more than a hundred-year history. This phenomenon was interpreted from the standpoint of various scientific approaches.

 

During the bibliometric analysis, we found a consistently low positive dynamics of the research interest in the problem of constructive activity in the Russian-language scientific search system. A small share of the research interest in the study of constructive activity in children of primary school age and in children with mental retardation has been revealed.
