In the article the author pays attention to the consideration of the main approaches of food addiction, reveals the content of the concepts of self, social setting. Based on the study of the relationship between self identity and social setting during the state of food addiction were reflected the results of the study, identified the main characteristics, the mechanism of interaction of self personality and social attitudes. It was found that with food addiction there is a change in social attitudes , which contributes to the deformation of the structure of self personality.
